So, i have been told i have to have some good quality publicity photographs done, what a laugh the camera hates me. I never new i had so many imperfections on my face until i saw them close up lol.Well anyway i managed to get through the pain and got a couple of great pictures. Probably due to the photographer been a genious :-

Here i am again, late at night just finished work and fancied a waffle!

So,  ive got an audition coming up with a sheffield based agent so fingers crossed for me eh. got a 30 minute gig to do to  prove my capabilities. Any tips on stage presentation etc or song choice  or should i just go for 8 of my best?

got a good idea what i want to sing but just hope it suits and i do well on the night. only another 3 and a half weeks to wait.

gosh that seems ages away, equipment to test, words to remember and voice to perfect. (or at least try)

First things first,

 I've finally got around to visiting my blog after months away. Work,work and more work stops me doing what i really want to do. Anyway, i am in the middle of organising an audition to finally get out there and perform. Got in touch with the agent and the audition night was the following day which i was unable to attend as i was working the late shift. Sods law innit. So now i have to be patient and wait until the next audition unless i go with another agent! Going for my publicity pics doing in the next couple of weeks so i will be posting them for you to look at and give me your comments. And finally hoping to be back in the studio within the next coupe of months (cash permitting) . I have just bought some recording software so i can link my laptop or pc to my pa system and record. i might eventually figure out what to do then i don't have the expense of the studio so any tips would be welcome.

Goodmorning all, i have just been told i need some new equipment to give me the power and the sound i require. i have spent many painstaking hours trying to get the sound just right and have failed miserably. i am currently using a beringher pmh3000 desk projecting 880w, and a pair of peavy pro 15 speakers. i have in the past asked for help in setting this up here on vox and got some good tips,however now i need to upgrade and wondered if anyone had any tips on what to look for,the best gear to buy etc. any feeback will be greatly appreciated.
